Favorite restaurant
A general view of Chinese Restaurant is that they are only as good as their hot and sour soup. That adage was proven once again today in a Wok. I’m generally skeptical about the Chinese restaurant, unless I’ve heard of the place of a Chinese friend, or I see a lot of ethnic Chinese customers patronizing the facility. Neither is the case for the first Wok, which is close to my favorite restaurant Pizza – Pizza Punch. So, I had not eaten in the restaurant until today. I must say, I missed a good Chinese food the past 3 years I have nearby. There are 5 Thai restaurants in the district, but there is no good Chinese. I think 1st Wok changes that perception for me. Their lunch specials are in the $ 7-8 dollar range, and you get a cup of fried rice and a cup of soup, along with a large portion of the main task. The dinner menu also looked very reasonable in price – the $ 10 area. You also get a basket of fried wonton strips on each table.
